Forsyth County is currently updating their Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan is a document that addresses current and future conditions within the county related to population, housing, economic development, natural and cultural resources, land use, community facilities and infrastructure as well as intergovernmental coordination. The purpose of this plan is to assess existing conditions and adequately plan for future expansion related to projected growth rates. Adoption of the plan is required by June 30, 2012. The community is invited to partake in visioning how this growth can be accommodated. The last workshop was December 13 at 6 pm in Suite 220 at the County Administration Building.
