The Membership Services & Operations Manager plays an integral role in delivering high value to our members. Additionally, as a member of a small team, this individual’s management and coordination of operational activities is vital to the execution of Council programs, initiatives, and day-to-day office functionality. This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, highly organized, and has the aptitude to work as part of a strong team. Directly reports to the Vice President, Membership & Operations.

SPRING 2027 POLICY INTERNSHIP

The Council is currently seeking two independent, dedicated individuals to serve as Policy Interns with the organization. These internships will be structured, learning opportunities geared to teach “real world applications” of public policy development. Those currently pursuing a college or graduate degree, preferably in a related field such Urban Planning, Public Policy, Political Science, Public Administration, or Public Relations will be most successful. Other areas of study including Economics, Environmental Studies, Environmental Design or Engineering, Law, Real Estate, Business Administration are also welcome. Interns will work hands-on with policy staff with both programmatic policy initiatives and with real public policy issues affecting our members. Our public policy work is heavily focused on local government advocacy, surrounding issues of housing, development, transportation, and water policy, as well as various initiatives during the Georgia State Legislative session.
