Woodstock Offers Retail Relief with The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta

Ground has been broken on a new retail outlet center just north of Atlanta, located in Woodstock the new outlet center is only 30 minutes OTP.

Currently Atlanta’s closest outlet centers are located in Locust Grove, Dahlonega, Calhoun and Commerce, respectively. Upon completion the Woodstock outlet center will easily top that list. This joint project is being completed by CBL & Associates Properties Inc., who owns Arbor Place Mall in Douglasville, and Horizon Group Properties Inc., and is slated to open to the public in August of 2013. The initial phase of the center will be 370,600 square feet and will include retailers such as Cole Haan, Brooks Brothers, White House | Black Market, Le Crueset and many other merchants. The center will be located off the newly constructed I-575 exit at Ridgewalk Parkway and is projected to generate $130 million in annual revenues. In addition to the outlet center itself, various restaurants, outparcels, and hotels will be built, only serving to further increase the positive economic and employment impact the project will have on the area.
