At its regular meeting on December 12th, the City Council heard from one of its own about concerns regarding the recently adopted Stormwater Utilities Fee. Council members Steve Faris, Randy Brewer, and Christopher Casdia all expressed concerns about the impacts the fees were having to local residents and businesses of the City. Although everyone agreed that Stormwater Utility Fee program had merit some believe the City may have gone too far in the matter and want to rethink the depth of the program. Mayor Henriques and Council Members Liz Baxter and Bud Leonard all remained supportive of the effort. The Council will continue to follow the issue and report any changes which may be on the horizon.
