Gwinnett County will begin the process of creating a Unified Development Code. The committee with the assistance of a consultant will review and formulate recommendations to update and integrate current ordinances and regulations including the Zoning Resolution and Development Regulations into one “user friendly” document for the public, the development community and County staff. The Council will be actively involved in this process and the first meeting will be held on Thursday, February 3rd from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. The committee will meet approximately 7 times and will complete the process in December 2011.
