Cities and counties had to submit transportation project “wish lists” to the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) by the end of the day on March 30th. ARC will compile the different project lists from the cities and counties into one list and send to GDOT Planning Director, Todd Long. Todd Long will then eliminate projects that do not qualify under the criteria set by the rules of the referendum process. Projects that do qualify will be sent to the 21 member regional roundtable and they will decide from what is left over what projects make the final project list for constituents to vote on during the 2012 transportation referendum ballot. The final project list from the Atlanta Regional Roundtable is due October 15, 2011.
