The City of Atlanta CDHR Committee will discuss the latest version of the Sustainable Building Ordinance at their July 14th meeting. The newest draft of the ordinance contains several revisions to improve the administration of the ordinance. Currently, the ordinance is scheduled to go before City Council for a vote on August 17th. The most recent revisions include: changes to the bond requirements guaranteeing LEED certification, a one year enactment date, and an administrative variance process. Additional changes may be considered by the CDHR Committee as well.
