On Monday, July 4th, the Sugar Hill City Council discussed several proposed revisions to the City’s Zoning Ordinance. They included revisions to the City’s Sign Ordinance and Architectural & Design Standards. The Sign Ordinance revisions include definition, application, and exemptions changes, addition of 24′ neighborhood signs for residential zonings, and modifications to the Sign Table. The Architectural & Design Standards revisions include modifications to dumpster & rooftop HVAC screenings requirements, additions of requirements for Arcades, out parcel structures, allowance of high grade stucco for certain uses, and modifications to building materials tables.
