An ordinance introduced for first reading on May 11 in City Council would impose a new stormwater utility fee for residential and commercial properties in Atlanta. The ordinance was referred to the City Utilities Committee, but City Concil voted to table the ordinace util later in the yea when the budget piture becomes more clear.. Residential owners would pay either $120 or $64.80 a year, while commercial property owners would pay 27 cents for every 100 sq. ft. of impervious surface.
