The State Senate District 6 race, which represents not only an entirely new district, but also the lone seat between Republicans holding a Constitutional majority in the Senate has two candidates who have both been familiar with voters: Senator Doug Stoner, the incumbent and Hunter Hill, the Republican challenger, who faced Stoner in the 2008 election and came up short.
