Sandy Springs Mixed Use Zoning District

On October 21st 2008, the Sandy Springs City Council approved amendments to the City’s Mixed Use zoning district (MIX).  The amendments state that parcels within the three living-working categories from the city’s land use plan will have minimum parcel sizes.  Living Working Neighborhood parcels will have a minimum lot size of three acres.  Living Working Community parcels will have a minimum lot size of five acres.  Living Working Regional parcels will have a minimum lot size of 10 acres.

AG-1 Zoning District

The City of Sandy Springs staff is working on amendments to the City’s AG-1 zoning district to no longer allow agricultural activities, converting it into a simply low density residential district.  No public hearing date has been set.
