Roswell Adopts Zoing Ordinance Amendments

Roswell City Council recently approved three amendments to its Zoning Ordinance.  The first creates a Master Planned Mixed Use Development district that will allow for mixed use development but leaves other Zoning Ordinance regulations (tree ordinance, stream buffer requirements, etc.) intact.  The second requires a project to go to the Design Review Board twice before final approval, following approval of rezoning.  The third limits the size of non-residential uses in residential districts to 7,000 square feet per acre; City Council approved this amendment on June 12th.  The proposed amendment allowing single-family attached and multi-family residential uses in the C-3 Commercial District with a conditional use permit has been withdrawn.
