On March 25, 2022, the Council held a virtual event for the Emerging Leaders Initiative (ELI) group to hear about the recently passed Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill and what it means for the state of Georgia. The expert panel featured Mara Stark-Alcala of U.S. Senator Warnock’s office, Scott Haggard of SRTA/ATL Transit Link, and Josh Waller of GDOT.
Over 60 ELI members joined the virtual event to hear federal, state, and regional updates about what to expect and when to expect it regarding the estimated $11 billion coming to our state.
