On June 29 the Cobb County DOT hosted an open house about the recently completed environmental assessment (EA) for the Connect Cobb project.The public hearing included a number of helpful displays and maps which provided details of the route and potential impacts of the project. Many local community members attended to learn more about the project and left public comments about the project. Additionally, a number of representatives involved with the project and the Environmental Assessment were present to answer any additional questions.
The public is encouraged to leave public comments and can still do so in written statement until July 14, 2015 by email to info@sycamoreconsulting.net or by mail at Mr. Marty Sewell, Connect Cobb EA Project Manager, Cobb County DOT, 1890 County Services Pkwy, Marietta, GA, 30008-4014.
