On October 27th, the City Council voted to postpone a public hearing on the O&P Zoning text amendments to its November 10th meeting.
At its October 13th meeting, the City Council voted unanimously to extend the moratorium an additional 90-days. The action followed the City Council’s September 22nd decision to send the Zoning Text amendments, related to O&P Zoning District uses, back to the Planning Commission with recommended revisions. The changes are intended to address the current moratorium on Office Professional Zonings in the City. The City Council held a public hearing on the item on September 8th, but failed to adopt the item because of unspecified additional concerns. A moratorium is expected to remain in affect until the matter is resolved.
