Mike Mason will be the sole candidate in the mayoral race in the newly created city of Peachtree Corners. Mason was the leader of the movement to incorporate Peachtree Corners as a city in Gwinnett County. There are also more than a dozen candidates that have emerged for the six City Council posts that will also be filled at the March 6, 2012 election.
