Marietta City Council Calls Special Meeting to Discuss Impending Redevelopment Referendum

The Marietta City Council will meet on Thursday, May 29, to discuss a $35 million redevelopment referendum and allow public comment on possible development projects on the November referendum.
The referendum will include $35 million bond to redevelop parts of Marietta considered to be blighted, specifically the Franklin Road Corridor. The areas would be redeveloped to make for a friendlier environment for businesses and residents.
