Lilburn CID Awarded GDOT Grant

The Lilburn Community Improvement District (CID) was awarded a $700,000 grant from the Georgia Department of Transportation.  The grant will fund the development of a multi-use pedestrian trail.  The grant originated from the Lilburn CID’s Highway 29 Corridor Study which has been approved by the Livable Centers Initiative and is therefore eligible for additional sources of funding.  Lilburn CID is a collaboration of concerned citizens actively involved in community groups, committees, city and county government and committed to creating an environment where businesses and families can prosper.
