The Council for Quality Growth is extremely pleased to announce Jim Durrett has been elected chairman of the MARTA board of directors. Mr. Durrett is the executive director of the Buckhead Community Improvement District (BCID) which is a prominent member of our association along with our other CIDs. He was elected chairman of the 12-member board on December 28th and his one-year term will begin on January 1st. Jim’s expertise on transportation issues along with his relationships with state and local officials and the business community make him an ideal choice for this appointment.
