Gwinnett County and the Georgia Department of Transportation plan to hold public meetings on two “diverging diamond” interchange projects on I-85. Diverging diamond configurations eases traffic movement by allowing drivers to cross to the opposite side of the road. One of these projects will be at Pleasant Hill Road and the other will be at Jimmy Carter Boulevard. The Pleasant Hill Road meeting will be Thursday, February 24th at the Atlanta Marriot Gwinnett Place at 1775 Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Jimmy Carter Boulevard meeting will be March 1st at the Gwinnett Village CID Office at 5855 Jimmy Carter Boulevard in Suite 122 in Norcross from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
