The State Road and Tollway Authority dropped the price of the I-85 HOT lanes during non-peak driving times. The price has decreased to as low as one cent per mile during the driving times of 10 am to 3 pm as well as after 8 pm every day of the week. Governor Deal, who chairs the State Road and Tollway Authority, announced the decision on January 19, and the decrease took effect immediately.
