Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission and the Fulton County Soil and Water Conservation District Board Policy Changes

The Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission and the Fulton County Soil and Water Conservation District Board have made several changes to policies in Fulton County.  In 2008, the Cities of Sandy Springs, Atlanta, and Fairburn all received a Memorandum of Agreement which allows them to review and approve all construction plans without sending them to the Commissioner’s office for review and approval.  The City of John’s Creek has asked for an MOA and it will take approximately six months for approval.  Fulton County, Roswell, and Alpharetta already had their MOAs.  Currently, Milton, Mountain Park, East Point, Hapeville, Forest Park, Union City, College Park, and Chattahoochee Hills don’t have MOAs.
