Georgia Competitiveness Initiative Releases Comprehensive Report

The Georgia Competitiveness Initiative (GCI) released its 2012 comprehensive report which identifies 6 key areas crucial to successful economic development in Georgia.

The 6 key areas are:

  • Business Climate
  • Education & Workforce Development
  • Innovation
  • Infrastructure
  • Global Commerce
  • Government Efficiency & Effectiveness

The GCI partnered with the Carl Vinson Institute of Government to conduct surveys in each of Georgia’s 12 economic regions. Survey respondents included citizens, small and large businesses, elected officials, and economic development professionals. The results of the survey are broken down by region and key areas.
