Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) released the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) for Fiscal Years 2024 through 2027. The public outreach period will run from August 18, 2023 through September 17, 2023.
The Statewide Transportation Improvement Program is GDOTs four-year plan for transportation and capital improvement. The STIP lists federally-funded projects statewide, except for those located in Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) – generally areas in Georgia with big cities.
Georgia DOT is pleased to present the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) for Fiscal Years 2024 through 2027. Project pages, organized in alphabetical order by county, in this document can be printed out if you would like to view a hard copy of the project information.
The STIP is a fiscally balanced set of transportation investments with project phases that are scheduled to be ready within the fiscal years shown. Project schedules are projections of the likely timing of work on various phases, and are subject to change, based on the unforeseeable aspects of and unpredictable events that can sometimes occur between the initial conception of a project and let-to-bid for construction that may impede or accelerate progress.
