EPD held a public hearing on September 25th to accept public comments on an application from the County to increase treated wastewater discharge into the Chattahoochee River. The increase is needed to address current capacity limitations at existing treatment facilities in south Forsyth. Written comments are still being accepted through October 15th. The development community is strongly encourage to speak-out in favor of the application.
