The City of Emerson recently announced the appointment of Mr. Kevin McBurnett as the new City Manager. Mr. McBurnett was the only finalist being considered for the position. McBurnett was named acting City Manager in November after the position remained empty for 3 months after the resignation of former City Manager Larry Clark. McBurnett served as Police Chief with City since September 2005.
