At its regular meeting on May 16th, Gwinnett’s Development Advisory Committee (DAC) voted to recommend approval of proposed amendments to the Development Regulations that would require all development projects accessing arterial and/or collector roadways and meeting certain thresholds to install left-turn lanes. Council staff was appointed to serve on a subcommittee working on the issue. The matter was first brought to the committee at its March 21st and April 18th meetings. The sub-committee met with county staff on May 1st to further discuss concerns and presented its recommendations to the full committee on May 16th.
