The Cumberland CID, with the Hopper, seeks to learn how shared, electric, and autonomous mobility solutions can help solve for first-last mile connectivity. The Hopper will be an opportunity for the Cumberland CID to become a leader in AV technology as it prepares to implement an autonomous shuttle system in 2026 on the Cumberland Sweep.
