CMES, Inc was awarded the contract to replace a bridge on Cruse Road as well as several other improvements. CMES was the lowest of eight bidders for the project. A new bridge will be placed in Cruse Road over Sweetwater Creek in order to improve traffic flow. A left hand turn lane will be added from Cruse Road to James Road. The project also includes the installation of sidewalks. The $2.87 million for this project will come from SPLOST funds.
