On October 8th, the Council for Quality Growth was honored to host an exclusive reception welcoming Jonathan Hunt, the newly appointed General Manager/CEO of MARTA. The evening brought together Council members, business leaders, and regional partners to celebrate Hunt’s leadership and the future of transit and mobility in metro Atlanta. Guests heard remarks from Council President & CEO Michael Paris, 2026 Council Chair and Executive Director of ATL Airport CIDs Gerald McDowell, Henry Ikwut-Ukwa of CDM Smith, Melissa Mullinax of HNTB, and MARTA Board Chair Jennifer Ide before hearing from Hunt himself. The Council extends its appreciation to presenting sponsors CDM Smith and HNTB and supporting sponsors AECOM, ATL Airport CIDs, Kimley-Horn, Parker Poe, and VHB for making the evening possible. The Council looks forward to working alongside Hunt and MARTA to advance regional connectivity, transportation infrastructure, and quality growth throughout metro Atlanta.
