Council for Quality Growth Donates $25,000 to Westside Future Fund

Using proceeds from its most successful Four Pillar Tribute ever in 2016, the Council for Quality Growth is giving back to the community through a $25,000 donation to the Westside Future Fund. The Council’s donation to the Westside Future Fund is made possible through the Chick-fil-A Foundation’s generous support of the 2016 Tribute. The contribution was presented at the March 23 bimonthly Transform Westside Summit, organized by the Westside Future Fund, and will be used to support community retention efforts.

Westside Future Fund Executive Director John Ahmann announced the donation to the more than 150 in attendance at the community meeting, and also thanked the Council for its continued support of the revitalization of the area.

2015 Four Pillar Tribute Honoree and Chick-fil-A President & CEO Dan Cathy also was present. Having announced his commitment to the Westside during the October 2015 Tribute, where the plight and opportunity of the Westside were the central theme, Chick-fil-A has heavily invested in supporting the revitalization and growth of the Westside area and the Westside Future Fund.
