On May 25th, the Cobb County BOC authorized the Community Development Department to defer all permit fees, sewer fees, and inspection fees until the issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy. This deferral will apply to all permits issued between June 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009. The program will apply only to residential and commercial projects in existing subdivisions and commercial/office complexes. The program would not apply to new development requiring a land disturbance permit.
