Forsyth County hosted a final comprehensive plan workshop on August 25th. The Comprehensive Plan is a document that addresses current and future conditions within the county related to population, housing, economic development, cultural and natural resources, land use, community facilities, infrastructure and intergovernmental coordination. This workshop focused on the Community Agenda draft as determined by previous public meetings. Special emphasis was placed on how the various components relate to each other and the ways in which the different parts of the plan integrate together to express and implement the community vision. The public can view each component of the Community Agenda and provide comments on-line until midnight on September 4th.
