On April 5th, the BOC voted 3-2 to reject a resolution supporting the submittal of the Etowah HCP to US Fish and Wildlife for federal review. Commissioners Linda Ledbetter, Brian Tam, and Dave Richard cast the dissenting votes that killed the measure. A number of people spoke out against the resolution, including representatives from the Council, during the public hearing portion of the meeting.
