The Cobb BOC passed the remaining code amendments dealing with Climate Controlled Self Service Storage Facilities (CCSSSF). Contained within the amendments are restrictions on building height and floor area ratio, apartments for resident managers, windows, landscaping, parking spaces, and loading areas. CCSSSF have been removed as a permitted use in the Low Rise Office District. Clarification that a Special Land Use permit is required for any freestanding CCSSSF. CCSSSF will not be allowed in the Neighborhood Retail Commercial District.
