City of Morrow Draws Over 200 for “Open for Business” Luncheon

The City of Morrow hosted a successful “Open for Business” luncheon Thursday, June 5th to highlight the many business and development opportunities that are present within the City. The event was very engaging and interactive, highlighting the resources and businesses that Morrow already boasts while also showing the opportunities for future growth and development.

Among other topics, the event highlighted the prime location that Morrow possesses. Located at Exit 233 on I-75, Morrow is just 8 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, and 11 minutes from the City of Atlanta. Over 160,000 people pass by Exit 233 on a daily basis. Recognizing the benefits of proximity to the airport and the City of Atlanta, Porsche North America has chosen to locate in Morrow. Morrow’s geographic location presents key connectivity and access to businesses looking to relocate or expand in the Metro Region.

Morrow also boasts a number of project-ready sites and a simple permitting process. Tax credits are also available for businesses interested in locating or expanding in Morrow. Morrow is also home to Clayton State University, the Reynolds Nature Preserve and the Georgia Archives and National Archives at Atlanta, as well as the Hungarian Honorary Consulate.
