Cherokee County Welcomes Inalfa Roof Systems

Inalfa Roof Systems, a company which is responsible for much of the world’s vehicle roofing supply, will be locating a manufacturing plant in Cherokee County. The company will bring 300 manufacturing jobs to the state, along with $17.1 million in investment.
The four year search for a location in the South finally lead Inalfa Roof Systems to a prime location in the Cherokee 75 Corporate Park right of off interstate 75 will allow the company access to the wide array of vehicle plants in the southeast.
Marshall Day, Chairman of the Cherokee Office of Economic Development, expressed his excitement for the company’s move to Cherokee County. In a press release from Governor Deal’s office on June 24th, Chairman Day states, “The new investment and jobs created will have a significant impact on Cherokee and the northwest Atlanta region.”
 
A Congratulations are in order for Chairman Buzz Ahrens and Community Development Director and his team for their work in the effort.  Additionally, former Council Government Affairs and Policy Manager and current Project Manager at the Dept. of Economic Development Wylly Harrison was instrumental in facilitating the deal and we would like to recognize his efforts as well.
