Cherokee County Board of Commissioners Lower Road Portion of Impact Fees

Good news for developers in Cherokee County. The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners approved a 90% reduction in impact fees for roads in the July 6th meeting.
The change went into effect on August 1st, and will affect new residential and commercial permits approved in Cherokee County. While commercial developments do not pay impact fees for some services provided by the county, they do pay a considerable amount for the roads portion. This reduction in impact fees will undoubtedly have a positive effect on economic development within the county.

The Council for Quality Growth would like to congratulate the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners in this endeavor.
