The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners met for the first time this year on January 4th. At the meeting the Board elected its new officers. Dist. 1 Commissioner Charles Laughinghouse was nominated and elected to serve as the 2007 Chairman. Dist. 4 Commissioner Dave Richard was nominated and elected to serve as Vice Chairman and newly elected Dist. 3 Commissioner Jim Harrell was nominated and elected to serve as Secretary.
