At its regular meeting on February 27th, the BOC voted to adopt amendments to the County’s Zoning Regulation, which changes the title of zoning category for Mixed-use Redevelopment (MUR) districts to Mixed-use Overlay (MUO)District and altered its application to include greenfield areas within the County. The purpose of the changes was to expand the use of the Zoning category by providing more flexible application of its use throughout all areas of the County not just in brownfield areas.
