The Evermore Community Improvement District is searching for a new executive director. Former Gwinnett Commission Chairman Wayne Hill has served as the interim executive director since October. Under Hill’s leadership, Evermore CID has approved a landscaping contract and agreed to several economic development initiatives. Hill has expressed he has no interest in assuming the role permanently. Board members are in the process of trying to narrow 27 candidates down to 4 and conduct interviews within the next couple of weeks. The Evermore CID plans to have a new executive director hired by the beginning of July.
