On June 15th, the Roswell City Council unanimously adopted a new ordinance requiring all new City buildings to be LEED certified. Additionally, they adopted even higher requirements for water efficiency and conservation components within the buildings. The City has submitted a proposal to receive an $825,000 Energy Efficiency grant as well. The City was also recently named a “Water First” city. All these components will go into the proposal for the City to become a Level II city with the ARC Green Communities program.
