At its regular meeting in July, the City Council voted to table a proposed Retaining Wall Ordinance. The item had been under consideration since June. The ordinance would’ve limited wood retaining walls to three feet in height and required all retaining walls higher than three feet to be constructed of concrete, concrete blocks w/stone, brick, or textured finish applied to the surface, or decorative stacking concrete blocks and have engineer design submittals, inspections, approvals, and permitting.
