The DeKalb County Commission approved a new Community Improvement District on April 26th. The Stone Mountain CID includes businesses in the corridor along and around Mountain Industrial Boulevard from East Ponce de Leon to just north of Hugh Howell Road. The new CID will use tax money to take on projects that will help local businesses in the Stone Mountain Industrial Park area. More than 80 property owners have agreed to participate in the new Stone Mountain CID.
