Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson of the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners delivered her inaugural State of the County address early Wednesday morning, March 3rd, at 12Stone Church’s Lawrenceville Campus. This hybrid event, presented by Axis Companies and HNTB, garnered over 540 masked in-person attendees and over 300 watching virtually. Hendrickson used her address to incite Gwinnett’s residents to “lift up and rally behind the Gwinnett Standard.” She recalled a past version of Gwinnett and the resulting systemic issues, weighing in on their benchmark for excellence as a driving force to create a new path forward.
