Privatization of Briscoe Field

Shirley Lasseter along with the rest of the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners have decided to delay consideration of the proposed airport privatization plan. Officials had been scheduled this month to request proposals for the partnership but now firms deemed qualified to submit proposals will not be announced until January after two new commissioners join the board.
