At the May 15th, 2012 Peachtree Corners City Council meeting, the 90-day building moratorium placed by Gwinnett County was a major topic of discussion. This moratorium was placed with the intention to avoid a problem faced by Johns Creek when a company was able to get permitting before the city was able to develop a planning and zoning department. This moratorium covers all building including residential.
The Peachtree Corners City Council plans to meet once a week for the next few months. These meetings will take place on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. at the Fowler YMCA.
