The City of Alpharetta has named Peter Tokar as the director of economic development. Tokar previously worked in Davie, Florida where he created the economic development department. He also ran economic development programs for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Broward Alliance, the city of Miramar, Florida and the Miramar – Pembroke Pines Chamber of Commerce.
