On Tuesday, the Gwinnett County Director of Planning and Development, Bryan Lackey, spoke at the Gwinnett Advisory Committee Meeting, sponsored by the City of Peachtree Corners. Director Lackey presented ideas that the county is working on to bring more Research and Development activity to the area and what steps are being taken to gather information on these types of developments. He also spoke about the increasing number of mixed use developments being planned for the Gwinnett area, but also in the entire Atlanta region as well. He answered many questions posed by the members in attendance and created a dialogue about the general future of planning and development in the county. Thank you to all who were present, to Director Lackey for speaking, and to the City of Peachtree Corners for sponsoring this meeting.
