Council Welcomes Megan King as New Director of Programs and Events

The Council for Quality Growth welcomes Megan King to the team as the Director of Programs and Events.

Megan previously served as President and CEO of the Chattanooga Regional Manufacturers Association in Chattanooga, TN. She started with the organization in 2011 as Executive Assistant, where she was promoted to Operations Director in 2014. In 2017, she was promoted to the top leadership position. Megan takes on this role to form and execute the Council’s annual schedule of programs and events while achieving the Board approved strategic and financial objectives. She will be responsible for planning and managing logistics for all programs including the annual Four Pillar Tribute, signature events, and the State of the County series.

“Megan brings a wealth of association experience to the Council,” according to Council President Michael Paris.  “Her previous work leading a regional manufacturers organization links well with initiatives we are involved with like the Four Pillar Tribute and the state of the county series.  She also understands our mission of promoting balanced and responsible growth while proactively representing a complex network of stakeholder and member interests.”

Megan earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and her Master’s in Business from KSU. Originally from Chickamauga, GA, she has lived in Chattanooga, TN for the past 15 years and looks forward to her next chapter in Atlanta.
